The Slingshot Challenge is is about sharing ideas for slingshotting our planet forward. Formative partnered with the National Geographic Society to help design the digital marketing strategy for a brand new challenge for 13-18 year olds to create a one-minute video with their solution to our current environmental problems.

I mainly focused on influencer partnerships and social media content strategy for Slingshot. I also:

  • Recruited and led contract negotiations for 4 internal and 4 external creator-influencers who reach 1M organic followers

  • Pitched and produced a sonic identity with a TikTok composer

  • Developed tone/style/voice guidelines for web and social copy

  • Led digital content strategy development

  • Drafted boilerplate and other PR-related copy

  • Designed briefs, toolkits, and memos to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders on content production

  • Conducted rigorous landscape and IDI research
