Vulcan Productions was an incredible film marketing experience

I was hired in April 2019 as a Digital Media Strategist to run paid and organic digital marketing campaigns. However, I was affected by headcount reduction layoffs, so my last day was in late-December 2019. Nevertheless, I cherished every single moment I had working squarely within Seattle’s film industry.

Highlights of my time at Vulcan Productions include:

  • Curated a visually compelling Instagram channel (probably my best creative channel work of my career was creating content for Vulcan Production’s social media channels with an IG-first approach)

  • Won a Shorty Social Good Award for Best Impact Campaign – Ghost Fleet film was an incredible project to support

  • Traveled to the United Nations and Capitol Hill World Ocean Week to support Ghost Fleet’s social impact travel circuit; I published a viral video to Facebook as a result of the trip, reaching 1M organic followers across 8 countries

  • Worked on the digital marketing and social impact campaigns for over 10 documentary film and VR experiences

  • Collaborated with the Vulcan Corporate Communications team on cross-department campaign projects

  • Managed over a dozen strategic influencer and partnership relationships across social media

  • Learned the ins and outs of complicated creator contracting processes
